Ruth Stocks updated an issue   Documentation / DOCU-551 Update Imaging module for 5.4 and fix imaging examples Change By: Ruth Stocks 1 - Update the Imaging module page for 5.4. 2 - Fix or update the examples in the [ 5.3 Imaging document|https://documentation.magnolia-cms.com/display/ DOCS DOCS53 /Imaging+module]: * *Creating an empty canvas*: The [ContentParameterProviderFactory|https://javadoc.magnolia-cms.com/info.magnolia.imaging.parameters.ContentParameterProviderFactory] shown in this example is not used in the examples that ship with the Imaging module. Is this factory still relevant? What is a legit use case? * *Loading an image from URL*: We now have DAM and (in theory) support external image repositories. Would a better example be loading an image from an external repository? * *Loading from Magnolia DAM*: Example missing. Loading an image from the Magnolia DAM seems like the #1 use case. The STK uses the DAM but what if you want to work without the STK? Which loader class and parameterProviderFactory should be used? * *FromBinaryNode loader*: The example generators {{large}}, {{portrait}} and {{thumbnail}} that ship with the module use the FromBinaryNode loader but this loader is not mentioned in the document at all. It looks like a replacement for the deprecated [FromNodeData|https://javadoc.magnolia-cms.com/info.magnolia.imaging.operations.load.FromNodeData] loader. * *NodeDataParameterProviderFactory*: When the FromNodeData loader got deprecated, why was this parameter provider factory not also deprecated? Is there still a use case?
