Andreas Weder updated an issue   Magnolia UI / MGNLUI-3105 Keyboard focus should only move the focus, not the selection, in order to allow for multi-selection of items Change By: Andreas Weder When you work with the keyboard in any view, *we currently move the selection if you use the arrow keys to navigate*.    This  effectively  *prevents me from multi- select disparate selecting non-adjacent  rows*  using the keyboard .    It's also *an uncommon pattern for webapps*, at least for more complex ones like ours. I'd like to *discuss a change* towards a model more common for webapps: to *move the keyboard focus, not the selection* (equal to the current highlight we show on mouse hover) if you click on the arrow keys, and then to select the element currently highlighted using the "SPACE" key. If we just move the highlight, we can easily multi-select values also with the keyboard. This not only benefits users preferring to use the keyboard but effectively enable people with disabilities.
