The problem arises when the user triggers a scheduled job when activating, because no matter which user is triggering it, the audit-log will record always "superuser". This has a technical cause, related to how Magnolia handles the execution of scheduled jobs using the "superuser" user. But from a customer perspective, this looses the real purpose of having this tracked for audit purposes. We need to have the real user (and not the superuser) logged in the audit logs when activation is happening through scheduled jobs. Common use cases are: Activating assets or activating a tree of pages (Publish incl. subnodes). If you do it with "eric" you will get "superuser" in the audit-log.
