Nevertheless you see the arrow up/down buttons, which is confusing for the customer. In order to solve this issue we see two approaches: 1) Use a MultiValueField Transformer which is capable to do ordering and can also hold nested MultiValue and Composite fields 2) Hide the arrow buttons for Delegating*Transformer We would prefer solution 1), since we have a requirement for ordering and we'd like to get rid of the position fields which are just a workaround for the ordering issue. I already tried to use other MultiValueField transformers. With success in ordering, but then got errors when trying to create new CompositeField items. See screenshot for a sample setup. Here we are using MultiValueFieldDefinition - DelegatingMultiValueSubnodeTransformer ( CompositeFieldDefinition - DelegatingCompositeFieldTransformer ( TextFieldDefinition, TextFieldDefinition ) ) Hiding the arrow buttons also didn't work, since we have no deep knowledge in Vaadin and injecting JS into the adminCentral.
