Just recently I worked on several pages made up of form modules out-of-the-box-components. I had to wait for changes to take effect for more than 30 secs. We did a lot of content migrating recently due to a version upgrade from 4.5 to 5.4. All the colleagues involved reported the same issue. We already ruled out the possibility of a browser problem by deleting the browser cache from time to time. This led - if at all - only to a short time improvement. i already talked to Christian Ringele about this problem during the last training I had the pleasure to attend. He told me to add some parameters to web.xml. I could not notice any improvements so far. But I must admit this happens only sporadically. I couldn`t rule out any network issues on our end.
