to the page header?
Try to get the top most parent of the control (should be the dialog
itself) then add the javascript to the dialog. Never tried, but
should work
IIRC Controls and Dialogs are different hierarchies.
Yes. This is true and my description will work only for the dialog
controls.
The controls are basic (without the magnolia look and feel) and are
useable everywhere. I thought you was talking about a custom DIALOG
control.
In the most cases one will make a dialog control using the basic
controls and not a custom basic control.
