Hello,

yesterday I released a new version of the JCR Browser and I think it might help you developing Magnolia. It is an Apache 2 licensed set of Eclipse plugins that show a node tree and a property list of a JSR 170 compatible repository (and has some other nice features). The feature I like the most is the XPath search. Beside an RMI connector it can also connect to local Jackrabbit repositories that use Derby and the SimpleDBPersistenceManager. I already tried to connect to Magnolia with that connector and it seems to work without problems. As it is a local connection, the Magnolia server needs to be down and not lock the repository.
You can have a quick look at these screenshots if you want:

(The search feature is not yet shown.)
This:
https://sourceforge.net/projects/jcrbrowser/
is the link to the sourceforge project where you can download the Eclipse plugins, subscribe to the mailing list and so on.

I will make announcements for new features and other related things mostly with the RSS feeds. So if you want to stay uptodate with this project you can subscribe to the feeds.

Please tell me if it is useful for you or if you have suggestions for improvements. I'm really looking forward to your feedback!

Best regards,

Sandro
