Hi Philipp,

Had a look to put the metadata update into the page properties, but the thing is that it was a bit complicated to update the metadata itself. (page.getMetadata().getStartTime() ...) since it's not a node under the page just like the other ones. On the other hand, all the code is depending on that getMetadata ().getStartTime() ... lots of refactoring if we want to change that to a simple node.

Can't wait for the bar to come :D

I've added a pair of dialog/paragraph to edit the startTime and endTime of a page for the time based activation.

We thought to do it as simple page properties (this also demonstrates that you can use any kind of information to steer the workflow).

What do you think about?

My plan is to put that as a separate button in the main bar. Is it ok ? If so, I will proceed tomorrow.
Let me know.

We still have the plan for the next version to make this general function button collection main functions like activation in the main bar under on button. If you click on the button it opens a submenu like list of functions. But I don't like to introduce it now.

Therefore I prefer the page properties until now.

Usability: we could make something like

<adminOnly>
        <isNotEmpty "startDate">
                This page will get published at .....
        </isNotEmpty>
</adminOnly>
