Sameer Charles commented on MAGNOLIA-915:
-----------------------------------------

Its a problem the way ConfigTreeHandler executes activation

Philipp : IMO it should be possible to override activateNode OR it somehow to
provide Rule via TreeHandler
currently all trees impl uses same rule with all possible nodetypes.
Do you think its feasible to change it now? if not I will do a workaround in
ConfigTreeHandler

> Activation of node trees does not work properly

> Type: Bug

> Components: admininterface
> Versions: 3.0 Beta 1
> Environment: Windows XP, Magnolia 3.0 RC1 build 3345, Jetty 6-Beta 17,
> Firefox
> Reporter: Giancarlo Berner
> Assignee: Sameer Charles

>
>
> - In Jetty /webapps installed /mg3_3345 and later /mg3_3397
> - changed subscribers to activate from 3345 to 3397
> - right-click on a folder and select 'Activation ing. sub nodes'
> - the folder is activated, but not the sub nodes
> - Activating a node works fine
> Not sure if that helps, but I have the feeling this happens always when
> trying to activate a 'folder' with sub nodes.
