the engine usually removes any expression once it got evaluated.
Expressions that remain in the expression store are unevaluated or
'lost'.
There isn't actually any purge system for removing lost/broken stuff
(I usually do it manually as I mostly use the FS expression store).

Is the last participant's workitem in the process proceeded as well ?
OpenWFE is about 'implicit termination'.
