[ http://jira.magnolia.info/browse/MAGNOLIA-1186?page=comments#action_12838 ] Sean McMains commented on MAGNOLIA-1186: ----------------------------------------
I was actually referring to the case when Workflow isn't being used. In the case of a workflow, I wouldn't expect a progress gauge. However, without it, one has to watch a "loading..." message without any further feedback until it completes. > ACTIVATION: Progress Meter > -------------------------- > > Key: MAGNOLIA-1186 > URL: http://jira.magnolia.info/browse/MAGNOLIA-1186 > Project: Magnolia > Issue Type: Improvement > Components: activation > Affects Versions: 3.0 RC4, 3.0 Final > Environment: Any > Reporter: Sean McMains > Assigned To: Sameer Charles > Fix For: 3.0.x > > > When activating a large set of items, it can take several minutes for the > activation to go through. While this is occurring, the user is given no > feedback on the progress of her activation request. It would be very nice to > have the "Loading..." message that currently appears update once in a while > to indicate percentage complete or something like "95 of 200 items complete". -- This message is automatically generated by JIRA. - If you think it was sent incorrectly contact one of the administrators: http://jira.magnolia.info/secure/Administrators.jspa - For more information on JIRA, see: http://www.atlassian.com/software/jira ---------------------------------------------------------------- for list details see http://www.magnolia.info/en/magnolia/developer.html ----------------------------------------------------------------
