Sean McMains commented on MAGNOLIA-1186:
----------------------------------------

I was actually referring to the case when Workflow isn't being used. In the
case of a workflow, I wouldn't expect a progress gauge. However, without it,
one has to watch a "loading..." message without any further feedback until it
completes.

> Issue Type: Improvement
> Components: activation
> Affects Versions: 3.0 RC4, 3.0 Final
> Environment: Any

> Fix For: 3.0.x

> When activating a large set of items, it can take several minutes for the
> activation to go through. While this is occurring, the user is given no
> feedback on the progress of her activation request. It would be very nice to
> have the "Loading..." message that currently appears update once in a while
> to indicate percentage complete or something like "95 of 200 items complete".
