Hi list,
We had here some internal discussions about the nearer future, means
the 3.1 release. The first outcome was that we think this could be
the targeted feature set:
- jackrabbit 1.2 (brings clustering)
- usability (keep open tree path, activate & status in page, ...)
- cross repository links (dms)
- advanced search (EE)
- datastructure (use nodetypes)
- dialog allow definition of nodetype to use
- dms uses folder and document node types
- sitedesigner should separate layout and content (based on
nodetypes)
- updating system
- modules
- magnolia
- webDav (facilitated by the new dms data structure)
The goal of this release is more about improving what we have, than
to change/improve the architecture.
In a first rough estimation we think we can do this till end of april
(first rc).
