Philipp Bracher resolved MAGNOLIA-1457.
---------------------------------------

    Resolution: Not an issue
Assignee: Philipp Bracher (was: Boris Kraft)

Are are right but you can do the following
- register a tree with custom configuration (see modules/admincentral/trees)
- set in the configureTree method the starting path
- on the uuidLink util you have to use the additional tree property

the default value of the tree property is the same as the repository but it can
be a different tree used in case you have to

> uuidLink dialog control does not have an option to restrict from which URL
> the tree starts

> Affects Versions: 3.0.2

> When using uuidLink control you can specify the repository to use (website,
> dms) but not the path of the starting URL in selected repository.
> If you have an author instance that manages multiple websites (each starting
> with different subtree) you would want to specify from which URL the tree
> will show.
