URLs with trailing slash result in broken links
-----------------------------------------------
Key: MAGNOLIA-1529
URL: http://jira.magnolia.info/browse/MAGNOLIA-1529
Project: Magnolia
Issue Type: Bug
Components: core
Affects Versions: 3.0 Final
Reporter: Boris Kraft
Assigned To: Sameer Charles
If you type a URL where the last part is a slash instead of .html, e.g.
http://www.magnolia.info/en/products/enterprise-edition/
(instead of http://www.magnolia.info/en/products/enterprise-edition.html)
The resulting page rendering will have its links point to non-existing pages.
Specifically, it seems that the top-level folder is taken twice to create the
link, i.e. for the above example, a link on the page could be:
http://www.magnolia.info/en/en/products/enterprise-edition/sitedesigner.html
(note the /en/en)
I am not sure what the desired behaviour is, but rendering a page with
incorrect links is not desired. EIther return a "page not found" or render the
links correctly.
