I did check all things you mentioned:

- public class NemoursModule extends AbstractAdminModule
- public final class WwwWebsiteTreeConfiguration extends 
WebsiteTreeConfiguration

The same issue happens with trying to do custom tree config with DMS tree... It 
has to be defined in dms module.
But dms custom threes have other issues...

I did try to restart after registering custom tree in our module and that 
didn't work either.

In any case there is a workaround for this (define the custom trees in their 
respective modules) so this report was just an FYI...

Depends on your module if it extends AbstractAdminModule it should register the 
trees.

check:
  - inheritance
  - in case you added the trees node you have to restart
  - typing of trees node
