I am not sure this kind of commenting is appropriate for JIRA
It is not.
Please let it be the dev teams' job to ask for patches. You can not
expect that everyone who finds a bug will be able/is willing to write
an according patch.
Every time we report a bug or suggest an improvement, it always
"well, why would you want to do this?" and "where is the patch?".
Is this is the kind of atitude we can expect on every issue
reported from now on?
No, I hope this was an accident.
