I am having difficulty finding information on Magnolia workflow. We would like to use Magnolia workflow for processes other than activation and approval. Specifically, we need instantiation of a template instance to launch a complex product workflow culminating in publication to an ecommerce web site.
To my knowledge, a couple of brief documents are available: A) http://documentation.magnolia.info/docs/en/administrator/activation/activationwf.html B) http://www.magnolia.info/wiki/Wiki.jsp?page=WorkflowIntroduction This information describes the "activation" workflow. That is one example of a workflow. It does not explain how the integration of openWFE in Magnolia works in general. There are certain aspects of this integration that are apparent from the above documents; 1) On the Configuration->Workflows page, there is a "Launch flow" area that appears to tie the workflow to nodes in the repository. What does this "Launch flow" control? What is the acceptable syntax? 2) there are "command sequences" used to launch workflows. This appears to be limited in granularity to the entire repository (note #1 from document A (above)). I need to associate workflows at a more granular level (e.g. Node type). How does this functionality differ/interact with #1 (above)? 3) there are certain tokens that can be used in the openWFE workflow definition to refer to Magnolia data elements. For example, ${field:action}. What is the entire list of tokens? I need details in order to use openWFE capabilities in a more general sense.
