Hi, don't expect things in sandbox to be fully functional and supported. After all it is just what it says it is - sandbox.
Module there was not fully functional because (as other things in sandbox) it was only trial of integration that started from webflow. Fully developed spring integration module that shows acegi and spring web integration is in the enterprise repository for now. Same as for jsf mentioned by Philipp before there is a chance that it will be open sourced in near future.
