Renewal orders are being re-engineered to be actual orders; this will allow
for better tracking. In addition to this, they will respect the "process
orders immediately" flag. This functionality is in QA right now (should
show up reasonably soon).
As for the audit trail, we are working on a aggregated tool/report that
will address your concerns. While I understand your position (David *has*
been asking for this for a long time), it is going to take some time to get
this online. It is being worked on.
