.tv wishes you to login to their website to perform whois queries.  This
allows them to a) limit the number of queries done to prevent data mining
(10 per day), and b) gather a list of interested parties potentially to
market to them in the future.

The Tucows whois works for all .tv domains registered via the OpenSRS
system.  Any other domain (available or not) shows incorrectly (slight logic
problem with the whois.cgi, working on it!).
