I would like to see a small change in the way renewals are currently handled. I would like to be able to allow customers to go to the site and put in their information and trigger a renewal automatically and have the ability for the renewal to honor the "queue all orders" tag.
Currently the latest version on the SourceForge says it doesn't have the setup to properly bill and such for customer renewals. I haven't had time to look at the latest version code but is it simply a matter of ripping out a few modules from "order.cgi" and putting them in "renew.cgi"? I would suspect that there would have to be an added flag on the queue on the OpenSRS side to show that the domain in the queue is a "renewal" and not a "new domain" or "transfer". What is the possibility of getting this added? If it just needs some client side code let me know and I will code everything up for it, if it will get folded back into the standard release.
