In general, you can renew a domain name without knowing the username
and password. However there's one major problem: You need to supply
the current expiry year for the domain name with the renewal command.
This informartion can be retrieved with the get_domain action, but
unfortunately, this action is not available to a subuser. The only
possible workarround I can think of for the moment would be to parse
the current expiry year from whois, but it's certainly not quite the
proper way of doing this.

Why do you want the subuser to be able to renew the domain name, if I
may ask?
