We have our own tag for handling .uk domains ourselves, which we needed for handling transfers and such, plus we got it long before we signed up to OpenSRS. .ltd.uk requires the registrant to provide a valid UK registered company number, and would require a change to the OpenSRS API, I think. Same goes for .plc.uk. .net.uk requires proof of ownership of a RIPE allocated IP block and is being faded out at the moment as there are so few registrations under it. .ac.uk is handled by JANET, and is only for educational establishments. .sch.uk is handled by the UK registry (Nominet), but is still only for educational purposes. Not sure why they don't have .me.uk on the list though. It doesn't really have any restrictions, other than that it's intended for personal use. Risking going OT, if you really need to register a .ltd.uk or such, and OpenSRS can't add it to their system, send me a private email and I'll see what prices I can offer you. -- Rick Hodger DomainsBuy.com
