Actually I don't use it (yet), because there was no supporting viewer
that would work with emacs/auctex (which has already experimental
support for synctex).  Today I've read that the latest okular release
claims to have support for pdfsync: http://okular.kde.org/news.php

Then there's texworks (http://www.tug.org/texworks/), a combination of
editor and viewer, which integrates synctex very nicely.  You might want
to give it a try.
