Hi Everyone,
Per the landing of https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=896582, we now
have the content/media mochitests running on Firefox OS emulators. In the
commit (https://hg.mozilla.org/mozilla-central/rev/740efbc3485a), you will see
which content/media mochitests have been disabled along with a rationale for
why.
Sincerely,
Jason Smith
Please note: we need to have preload="metadata" on media elements in
some (all?) mochitests for them to pass on FxOS due to FxOS defaulting
to preload="none", whereas desktop defaults to "metadata". So
henceforth, please add preload="metadata" to all media mochitests that
require readyState > HAVE_NOTHING.
We can't use pushPrefEnv to change the default since it's asynchronous,
and not all tests use the MediaTestManger so we don't have a common
entry point where we can block the waiting for the pushPrefEnv to finish
on all tests.
See Bug 898696.
