After our team discussion about visual design this morning, Sevaan and I chatted, and here's where I think we landed (Sevaan, Niko, Mike, and anyone else should feel free to correct me, disagree, or propose tweaks).

Rather than attempting to try to land the visual design work piecemeal (which has a high transaction cost per piece, in terms of development, design, and regression wrangling), we'll split the two.

The idea being that:

Niko and Mike will pair on the visual design work, starting with pulling all of the react components into README.html so that it's actually possible to visual notice when a style-rule change regresses something unanticipated.

Until that lands, the rest of us will move forward on our regularly scheduled bugs and feature work, but without implementing the new visual styling for those bugs.

ux-review won't be required on the incremental (non-visually-styled) bugs, the ux-review will happen in one coherent piece, when the visual design uplift lands as a whole.
