Developers should be running with Warn or a more verbose log level for the features they're working on anyways so this would hopefully be noticed. I'd rather not spam the console for regular users as it makes it harder to debug unrelated issues in bug reports.

Three current examples of this are:
* the following which appears whenever a new window is opened (including the Browser Console)
"OpenGL compositor Initialized Succesfully.
Version: 2.1 NVIDIA-8.26.28 310.40.55b01
Vendor: NVIDIA Corporation
Renderer: NVIDIA GeForce GT 750M OpenGL Engine
FBO Texture Target: TEXTURE_2D"
* A few lines of GMP output that I see regularly which doesn't seem like an error that I need to worry about. * "server does not support RFC 5746, see CVE-2009-3555" which shows in the Browser Console instead of the Web Console.

Just my two cents,
