Video player:

    <video src="http://example.com/live.ogv"; autoplay></video>

I know that this is no realtime solution, i.e. live playback may lack a
few seconds behind, and that's OK. Just if the lag is greater, then
there is a problem.

*What happens when the bandwidth of the client's Internet connection is
lower than required for the live video stream? Will the playback lack
more and more behind? Will it stop? Or will it skip?*

Skipping would actually be OK.

If live playback with DASH would work, then I'd use that, of course.
WebRTC doesn't seem to be an option since I want to broadcast from a
server.
