Ever since the Seamonkey Suite was forked from the standalone web browser, it
has been standard practice for major components that are not an integral part
of browsing the Web, such as Chatzilla, Sunbird, Thunderbird, etc. to be made
either optional Add-ons or standalone apps.

Firefox Hello is one of those components. It has clear privacy and security
problems, https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=959893
http://thehackernews.com/2015/02/webrtc-leaks-vpn-ip-address.html which appear
to be flaws inherent to the WebRTC standard itself, if the commentary on the
bug is to believed.

WebRTC should never have been included in Firefox to begin with, much less
turned on by default, much less leaking potentially sensitive information
without prompting the user. It seems entirely appropriate to place in an
Add-on, where the few users who require it and are willing to live with its
flaws can get it as needed.
