Hello, It seems impossible for privileged code (chrome://) to select a device for getUserMedia ( https://mxr.mozilla.org/mozilla-central/source/dom/media/MediaManager.cpp#1715 ).
I can use getUserMedia, but only the default device is used ( https://mxr.mozilla.org/mozilla-central/source/dom/media/MediaManager.cpp#1193 ) Is there any workaround, or is it planned to add the functionality, it can be useful for extensions and xulrunner app. And I don't really understand the limitation.
