I am running the following scenario with a Chrome browser and a Firefox browser

1. Chrome sends an offer with audio and video. (both have "a=sendrecv")
2. Firefox local stream has a single audio track and no video tracks.
3. While creating the answer on FF, the constraints for createAnswer are set as
{"offerToReceiveAudio":true,"offerToReceiveVideo":false}

The answer created by FF contains "a=recvonly" for video. I was expecting the video to be
"a=sendonly".

Is the listing of the video stream as recvonly correct? If so, how do I get FF
to not receive or send video in the answer?

Thanks.

Firefox does not support things like offerToReceiveVideo on createAnswer (if it did, you would see a=inactive in the case you describe). I think you could munge the SDP to be a=inactive though. I doubt we will end up implementing these things in createAnswer, since they've been removed entirely from the editor's draft.
