Hi,
Hope you can help me with the serious issues we have with FF.
Testing webrtc video we seem to have a major performance issue with Firefox
which we are not sure why.
Here the results we get

Some background about the setup
1. We open AppRTC webrtc page
2. Add hidden video element to the page and load a VGA webm video from CDN
3. we capture stream from video using HTMLMediaElement.mozCaptureStream()
and use this stream as fake input for getUserMedia
4. As far as we see from the SDP the codec used is VP8
On our main setup Linux on Docker, the video get play in 1fps,
running without docker Linux or Window strong cloud machines give us 9/5 fps
Not sure why but same on BrowserStack OSX and Windows machine show much better
results but still cannot run HD size video and reach our Docker+Chrome setup
which has no problem to run HD.
Any hint will be highly appreciated.
THANK you,
Benjamin

Hi Benjamin,
Best wishes for 2016 and congrats for the quick adoption of testRTC in the
industry, pretty impressive!
Within the Firefox Hello team we still have no need for testing/monitoring help
although I'll be sure to contact you if we identify areas where you may be able
to bring value.
Thanks,
Romain

Romain,
I wish you and your family a GREAT 2016!
6 months from our last communication. Below our communication from July.
testRTC developed dramatically in those 6 months.
We got a GA product with large scale functionality for testing. We added
monitoring functionality. We have today more than 20 customers in production.
We grow on average 6 clients per Q. Partial list of our clients: GENDBAND, ATT,
TELEFONICA, VIDYO, AVAYA more.
Do Mozila have a need for webRTC testing and monitoring?
I’ll try calling you right after your holidays.

Hi Benjamin,
I don't think there is a real good fit for Hello (we already have
testing/monitoring in place and we operate in a fairly specific mode which
probably means your tools would have to be highly customized to fit what we do
- we're built in the browser as opposed to operating on a web page always).
That said how about we have a 30 min chat to go through your solution so I get
a better understanding of what it allows, I can update you on the latest with
Hello and also maybe you have feedback at the Firefox WebRTC level that you'd
like to raise in order to make you testing solution better?
I'm in France next week so if you're in Israel we can probably chat in the
morning - how about Tuesday morning?
Thanks,
Romain

Hi Benjamin,
Thanks for reaching out.
I am actually home based in Lyon.
Per my other e-mail please give me a couple of days to catch-up on stuff and
get ideas from the team to see if there is value for us there.
Thanks!

I will be in Paris next Thursday July 23 for few days.
Would it be possible to meet and try to explore if our product will have added
value for your work?
Have a great day!
