I don't know of a good way to make mach stop chatting in the middle of GDB's serious conversation with Emacs. It sure would be nice to fix this.
Note that Emacs sets the "EMACS" environment variable to "t" in the GDB subprocess. Perhaps mach could use this as a way to automatically behave correctly.
