I intend to turn *ON *the preference *media.eme.hdcp-policy-check.enabled*
by default for all platforms on *Firefox 128*, which will allow web
developers to use MediaKeys::getStatusForPolicy()
<https://w3c.github.io/encrypted-media/#dom-mediakeys-getstatusforpolicy>
function to query the HDCP status.

*Summary:* MediaKeys::getStatusForPolicy() is a function used to check the
HDCP status on devices.
