Ugh, surely there has to be a better way. I sometimes get carried away and post acerbic comments about things like the dynamics of maintaining a market share (sorry about that), but what you propose is totally over the top. The present can of worms is not just about an unwillingness to do the right thing (whatever that is), but there are one or two unsolved engineering problems involved.
