In a development which proves that irony is not dead, I need to request participants in this forum to avoid S/MIME-signing their messages here until further notice. It appears that under some circumstances (the exact ones are unclear), Google Groups is failing to archive such messages.
Such messages do show up at: https://www.mail-archive.com/[email protected]/ and on the mailing list and newsgroup versions of the forum, so they are not totally lost. However, it leaves people participating using Google Groups with an incomplete picture of the discussion, which is not ideal. When and if we have more information to share, or if something gets fixed, I will let you know.
