Londerzeel, Belgium, 3rd of March 2006

Dear sirs,

I am a novellist and I'm writing a new book in which I'm referring on e-mail traffic. I'd like to ask you if it's is technically possible to receive an e-mail of which the source-code is not mentioning the date of release or a date of release which is several years old ? I'll put it an other way: let's suppose I receive a strange e-mail from an unknown person. I check the source code and I'm surprised that:

1) the e-mail was sended many years ago ... (source-code is for example mentioning the year 1976...)

or

2) the e-mail has no date of release at all

I presume this is of course not possible. But could you pleaqse briefly explain me why this is not possible?

Many thanks en best regards. By the way: you have a superb tool with Thunderbird !
