I've released DXR, put up a working version, and made a demo screencast.

I'm going to be starting holidays later this week, so my pace of
development will slow for the summer. However, I will still work on it,
accept patches, and feedback. My main hope in announcing it here is
that others here will help me improve this.
A huge thanks to Taras, Benjamin, and #static who have provided advice,
feedback, and fixes. Thanks for providing me a community within which
to do this work. It would be pretty lonely otherwise.
I think DXR has a long way to go, but proves that the kind of black
magic coding you all do has every day benefits to all developers.
