These notes ware all related with gcc-lua - the Lua GCC plugin, and not focused on your current itch :-)
I wrote this introductory "advertisement", because part of the list members might be reluctant to relay on Python for their GCC related works, so the Lua gcc plugin might be an alternative for them (small footprint, with many good characteristics and close to JS as concept), but Lua/LuaJIT is relatively less known platform.
