The Perl or Python bindings could be a great way to test NSS. Right now we test NSS by writing a few versatile C programs and using shell scripts to drive the test programs. Using the Perl or Python bindings, we could potentially have access to a larger subset of the NSS API and exercise that using a more powerful scripting language.
