Hi Rick, I once tried to include the scripting engine implementation from https://scripting.dev.java.net/ in Rhino - see the following bug report:
https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=379385 Unfortunately I ran into erratic behaviour where the script engine manager randomly chose between the bundled and non-bundled rhino versions. I didn't resolve that issue, but it may be worth investigating.
