Well, I'm not an expert on chemistry, so I'll have to refer to Alan Wood who originally raised the issue with chemical names: https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=95067#c78 Apparently, at least in this case, the preferred break point would be after the second hyphen: 2-bromo- 4,4-dichlorophenol However, if the optimal break point was too difficult to define, any break would be better than no breaks at all. See also: http://www.alanwood.net/pesticides/abamectin.html Now, _that_ looks scary! (I suppose breaking at hyphens would help a little, but I have no idea how on earth one could define a preferred break point there.) -- Simo Kaupinmäki _______________________________________________ dev-tech-layout mailing list dev-tech-layout@lists.mozilla.org https://lists.mozilla.org/listinfo/dev-tech-layout
