Hello,

I generate pdf through java-embedding firefox 3. The resultant pdf is
huge and renders very very slowly in Acrobat reader.

Am i missing anything. Is there any way to render it faster in reader?

I know there are issues with things that are partially transparent. I.e. things like png images with shadows (such as the google maps markers) and CSS properties that cause partial transparency.

For various reasons i think mozilla ends up having to create giant images that contain partially transparent object blended with what is behind it.

So try removing such images and CSS style rules from your page if possible.
