Thanks Rich for your quick response.
Actually, I have a plug-in which uses ldap sdk 4.1 in solaris box. The same
plug-in I want to port it in linux box, for this purpose I need ldap sdk 4.1
in c for linux platform.
So, I can not move to latest release at this point of time. It will be a
great help, if you could provide me the pointer to download that.
I really don't know. We didn't publish binary releases for a long time. Perhaps there are some on Sun's web site - they used to be included with the Directory Server Resource Kit. But you might have to build them yourself from source. If you want to do that, you will first have to familiarize yourself with CVS in order to figure out which CVS tag you want from the 4.1 releases.

Hi All,

Do you have any pointer from where I could download this library?
Do you need 4.1 for some reason, or can you use a later release? The latest source release is 6.0.2, and the latest release for which we have binaries is 5.17 - ftp://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/mozilla.org/directory/c-sdk/releases/v5.17

See here for instructions about how to build from source - http://wiki.mozilla.org/LDAP_C_SDK

See here for our discussion about how to package 6.0 - http://wiki.mozilla.org/LDAPCSDKBinaryPackaging
Thanks in Advance
