The Java LDAP SSL code in java-sdk/ldapjdk/netscape/ldap on the trunk
is very old, dating back to 2002, and bearing the tag LDAPJavaSDK_418.

Is that the latest version?
Or is the latest version on some branch whose name is unknown and
undiscoverable?
Or are some vendors shipping private newer versions of it?

I read messages in newsgroups in which developers claim to be using
"Mozilla's" Java LDAP SDK with JSS for SSL, and they sometimes report
that they are using much larger (implicitly more recent) version numbers.

Where would they be getting that stuff?
