Could you provide a little background as to the reason for the change? Is there an option (compile-time or runtime) to disable it? This is a serious issue for me, as the previous behavior allowed the use of separate profiles to independently sandbox different browser sessions.
I'm also curious as to why such a drastic change has received so little mention in anything I've read about the 1.5 releases.
