Dear All,
Is there any way to detect whether particular extension is already
installed ?
My requirement is ,
If an user browse through a page, which can detect whether particular
extension is already installed or not.
If the extension is not installed , then it will prompt the user to
install the extension.
I accessed nsIExtensionManager to get the details, but it is allowed
only when the page(html) is local to the machine. If i place the page in
some server, then it is not allowed to access extensionmanager service.
Kindly let me know is there any API available to do this.
