Hi all, I am an absolute newbie to XPCOM and would really appreciate if someone can answer some queries of mine.
I have a toolbar for IE, developed using win32 SDK,.. This code has MS COM components and some static libraries in there... I need to build the same toolbar for Firefox also,.. I was wondering if it is safe to assume whether I can call the Win32 APIs and link to my libraries from the XPCOM component,.. I don't need to call the MS COM components, I will be writing their equivalents using XPCOM and XUL, but for re-usability and faster development time I would like to make use of my libraries as much as possible... Is this easily possible? Any caveats there, which I should be aware of? I would really appreciate if someone can answer this.
