Hi, I got a remarks from an app review on the mozilla marketplace that as there is no back button in Firefox OS, you have to provide your own UI to exit Fullscreen mode. I don't have a Firefox OS now to test but on the simulator, when you press the home shortcut (not the home button as it disappear when going fullscreen), the user is taken back to home screen, thus not only exiting fullscreen mode. When I tried it on a device a few month ago, if I remember correctly, the home button could be used to exit fullscreen.
Have the behavior changed? And maybe more important, if I'm using the fullscreen API in an app I'll have a warning when my app is reviewed but what about traditional website? (eg: Youtube & co.) they won't know they have to add an 'exit fullscreen' button. Maybe I dreamed that 'home button' => 'exit fullscreen', but don't you think it makes sense? Also it's obviously annoying to have to add extra UI for that (it could be a gesture or double tap, but that's not gonna be obvious for the user) what do you think about it? -- Mathieu Rochette _______________________________________________ dev-webapps mailing list [email protected] https://lists.mozilla.org/listinfo/dev-webapps
