Hi Matt, I've left message on http://bugzil.la/890616 about gaia's work on >1x DPI environments.
I'm afraid current (1.0.1) version did not have such flexibility. There will be common 'window.pixelRatio' API support before any production devices available on market though. You can count on it to detect the screen density. I found a lib http://retinajs.com/ can detect and use @1.5x, @2x images by density. Detecting >1x DPI environments Hoping to get answers as https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=890616has gone silent... In a Firefox OS environment where the css pixel / display pixel > 1x, how should third party apps compensate from appearing too small? Gaia apps seem to roll their own 1.5x resources for the Peak, but what should third-party apps/ web content do? ~potch _______________________________________________ dev-webapps mailing list [email protected] https://lists.mozilla.org/listinfo/dev-webapps _______________________________________________ dev-webapps mailing list [email protected] https://lists.mozilla.org/listinfo/dev-webapps
